Reggie Goberdhan Memorial Volleyball League competition final set for tomorrow
The Berbice Volleyball Association will be holding the final of the Reggie Goberdhan Memorial Volleyball

League Competition 2011 tomorrow, Sunday Jan 8, at the GTM Court in New Amsterdam.
The late Reggie Goberdhan was a former member of Avengers Volleyball Club in Stanleytown, New Amsterdam and an ardent supporter of the BVA in the late 70’s and early 80’s. His widow Mary Goberdhan and daughter Sue Goberdhan will be on hand to present the trophies and prizes at the conclusion of the final. The final will feature GTC/PM, the winner of the Lower Corentyne Zone and Rollers, the winner of the N/A –Canje Zone. Both teams have a mixture of experience and youth and an exciting final is anticipated.
The action is scheduled to start at 9:30hrs and all Volleyball fans are invited to witness the three best of five encounters.
The BVA is also reminding all its affiliates that plans and affiliation dues are to be submitted to the Association at the statutory meeting planned for Jan 15th at the All Saints Anglican Church Hall in Trinity St., New Amsterdam.
